The wind blows cold.
The grass remains stagnant .
People flock to warmth
Like opposite magnets.
Another day ends
and the sun sets on the range.
But this one is different.
Suddenly there is change...
Make that change a positive one you all. There's a lot of hope this next year, but you've got to bring it to fruition!

The Road Less Traveled
Alrighty, I feel like the opening paragraph to my blog is done, so to speak. I ended with a thesis statement and now....I don't know where to go.
I wasn't going to post today, but I'm feeling inspired (a little drunk) and feel like opening up to you all. Whether you like it or not we're going to build a connection...hopefully. Maybe someday I'll even post my real face. We'll see.
I'll start the opening gambit. My real name isn't Bill. I probably should've saved this for a season ending post. I guess I just figure most of you would be smart enough to assume someone wouldn't post their real name all over teh internetz so whimsically. You can still call me Bill, however.
The next thing, I started this blog as a way critique to my poetry. I opened it up to other things, because I had a hard time containing it to poetry. However I still need more critiques to my poems! You all may find other things more interesting, but I'm still hoping for some poetry critiques (/compliments?).
I should probably end this here since I've been drinking (WHISKEY) and "I'm halfway to the gutter and the stars." Goodnight fine folks.

It's easy for the normal man
to lose itself in a star.
The vast expanse spans
wide and far
A man's mind is set to conquer
without knowledge or fear
But conquerors don't determine where
to begin with the far and the near.
For bonus points: How does the title of this post relate to the content of the article?

Hey Friends,
I'm really happy with the way the development of this blog is coming along. I was hoping I could get things going fast and, after the initial delays, things seem to be going well! Thanks for the comments and votes in the poll too. I think I'm going to try and branch out and talk about different things as well. Only talking about myself and writing poems can get kind of boring when there is SO much else to talk about. I've liked a lot of the game reviews I've found on here, so you'll probably see some of those from time to time. Once I get a new TV (mine just broke :( If anyone knows how to fix an LCD TV message me please) you will probably get my review of Skyrim. That game is ill, even though I've only played a few times. After I get bored with that I will most likely hop on some MW3. It looks to be a nice relaxed day. "Sun is shining weather is sweet" as Bob would say. Take care and THANK YOU!

Mad Faded
I must've exceeded the recommended serving size on my drinks a couple nights ago, because I got lit up like whoa. Not my brightest moment. I certainly paid for it yesterday. Today I feel reinvigorated. It would be a lot better if I didn't have to work my crap job. Hopefully the day goes fast, because I have tomorrow off.

The grizzled man stumbles through the desert
The camels flee
The scorpions retreat
Even the vultures keep their distance
They wait until he falls
But he continues walking
Thirsty and alone

I'm so confused!
I thought I was going to set everything up real quick like, wrong. It's taking me forever to navigate though. I'm trying to do last minute Christmas (read Chrimbus) things like cleaning and such and am feeling kind of pulled in all directions. Plus some of the stuff on here you have to apply too and when it doesn't go through you've got to spend extra time fixing and adjusting. I was hoping to have this all set up and running already : ( Here's hoping I can cram everything in before the festivities take place tonight. Go Bears!

My first post!
Hi Internet. This is going to be a space I use for my poetry and general ranting. I hope you enjoy. Feedback is appreciated. Happy Holidays, Merry Christmas, or whatever you celebrate!
The snow falls softly
On the rabbit's nose.
It melts then drips.
Spiraling through the air
It returns to the drift.
Refreezing
Into snow again.
-Bill
Some pictures from my "neck of the woods", as they say. No snow! : (
